Isabella

Isabella is a Tower illusion researcher whose physiological study of illusion helps bring mental magic into experimental arcana. She shares a Silver Moon Laurel with her student Rachel and remains active through the quantum debates. (Chapters 328–460, 663–664, and 826)

Biography

Testing illusion through the body

Isabella and Rachel discover substances secreted when illusion spells affect people, proposing that some illusion effects can be investigated through bodily processes rather than attributed only to an inaccessible mind or soul. Traditional illusionists attack the paper as shallow and reviewers undervalue it, but experimental evidence earns teacher and student a shared Laurel. Isabella continues discussing implications with Lucien and participates in later debates where microscopic probability again challenges intuition. Her consequence is methodological: illusion becomes a field in which measurable physical evidence can confront inherited explanations. (Chapters 328–348, 428–460, and 663–664)

Appearance and abilities

Isabella has black hair and blue eyes and wears an elegant light-green dress, hat, and purple hair ribbon. She specializes in astrology and illusion and is a senior-rank sorcerer, but the excerpts do not give detailed combat spells or limitations. (Chapters 336–343)
