Shin Hansung

Shin Hansung is a Sinyoung employee who handles contracts, escort work, and field tasks. He works alongside Kim Hannah early in Seol Jihu’s Paradise career and remains with Sinyoung after her resignation. (Chapters 17–19, 113–114, 175)

Biography

Recruitment work

Shin supports Kim Hannah during the conflict surrounding the Neutral Zone’s end, drawing a dagger when ordered and carrying defeated opponents away. He then conducts Sinyoung’s contract negotiation with Yun Seora and presses Seol Jihu to reconsider rejecting the company. His polished sales pitch and persistence show why he is trusted with recruitment, while his willingness to convey harsh executive conditions shows that he acts as the company’s representative rather than an independent advocate for recruits. Remaining with Sinyoung

Years later, Shin waits for Kim Hannah at Sinyoung and inadvertently reveals a ringing communication crystal to her. When she prepares to resign, he urges her to remain and argues that management may have reasons for its decision, but cannot persuade her. He is still identified as Manager Shin during a later visit involving Sinyoung’s executives, returning only a bitter smile when he and Kim Hannah acknowledge one another. (Chapters 113–114, 175)

Appearance and personality

Shin is a young man with curling hair. He is talkative, thick-skinned, and skilled at keeping himself in a negotiation even when another party tries to exclude him. Around Kim Hannah he mixes teasing familiarity with professional deference, but their later exchange shows discomfort after their loyalties diverge. Abilities and class

Shin handles a dagger confidently enough to enter an attacking posture and can transport restrained opponents during field work.
