Lana

Lana is a young Sunil civilian whose lifelong dream is to become a soldier and protect his people. His brief life illustrates both the sincerity of Sunil military ideals and the cost borne by ordinary families.

Biography

The Black Star Mercenary Group

Lana first appears beating a drunken man who insults soldiers, revealing both fierce conviction and poor restraint. Though his parents beg their only child to limit himself to compulsory service, he insists that defending Sunil is honorable. At the recruitment site he ignores a final chance to reconsider and submits an application for the regular army. His childhood training, muscular build, and determination make him an ideal recruit, but no combat deployment is shown during this phase. (Chapters 346–348 and 354)

Mutation Disaster and the Secret War

Years later, Herlous recognizes Lana among Sunil's dead soldiers. Lana's ashes are returned to his parents, who collapse around the box, and Herlous calls him exemplary. The exact battle, cause of death, rank, and accomplishments are not specified; the text confirms only that he died in service after achieving his childhood goal. (Chapters 625–626)

Appearance and personality

Lana is a strong, muscular young man. He is passionate, idealistic, quick-tempered, and deeply influenced by Sunil's culture of military contribution. He loves his parents but ultimately places service above their fear of losing him.

Abilities and class

No Super class, energy, named skill, or special weapon is established. Lana trains with a veteran neighbor and qualifies as a promising ordinary recruit, but his later military specialty is unknown.
