Standing beside Jack

Oroo joins Jack against Primal Grimshaw when personal injury and alliance politics threaten to become a conflict above their ability to control. She refuses to dismiss the need for justice, openly confronting Grimshaw, yet warns Jack that vengeance cannot justify making a Sage an enemy without a survivable plan. Her role is therefore neither passive restraint nor reckless encouragement, but disciplined support under unequal power. (Chapters 1700–1706)

Guiding the aftermath

As Jack undergoes a dangerous transformation and treatment, Oroo remains close enough to protect his interests and interpret what is happening. When she leaves, she does not simply disappear: a letter and prepared resources give him context and a path forward.
