Biography

Scouting the captured realm

Cindy helps distinguish nonliving energy signatures from active inhabitants, then sweeps durable ruins that have become animal nests. When a deceptively ordinary arrow carries lethal force, she contributes to judging whether the attacker is probing or preparing continued assault. Her reconnaissance reduces uncertainty but cannot eliminate it, leaving the team to confront a Golden Core threat through collective planning. (Chapters 299–305)
