Amana

Amana is a Dao Lord and Deity of Water whose conflict with Ra predates her intervention on Earth. When alien robots threaten humanity and stronger powers decline to help, her religion establishes a domain on the planet, empowers mortal followers, and becomes one of the central forces keeping the population alive. Biography

Ra, the Innkeeper, and Earth

Amana attends the Henali assembly without fearing renewed pursuit by Ra, recalling that she once froze him in time until Ballom intervened. News that the Innkeeper destroyed Ra's religion and forced him into hiding delights her and creates personal fascination with an unknown power who succeeded where her earlier punishment did not become permanent. (Chapters 405–416)

She later answers Earth's need alongside Adamas, making the planet accessible through the domain created by worship. Followers gain potent abilities that let ordinary people participate in the robot war and reduce casualties as cultivation spreads. Amana also supports restrictions on fleeing through Golden Keys, judging that mass escape would weaken morale and defense; her protection thus preserves lives while imposing wartime control over those she empowers. Appearance and personality

Amana's Dao Lord form cannot be meaningfully comprehended by Lex's low-level consciousness clone, so no reliable physical portrait is established. She is confident, emotionally expressive, and openly pleased by Ra's humiliation. Attraction to the Innkeeper rapidly becomes speculation about his suitability as a father, revealing a direct, dynastic mindset alongside her willingness to assume responsibility for an endangered planet. Abilities and cultivation

Amana is a Dao Lord deity whose water religion lets her establish an actual presence wherever sufficient worship creates her domain. Followers receive survival and combat powers, though the individual blessings are not enumerated. She can freeze Ra in time for an apparently indefinite period, but Ballom can interrupt that result. Deities cannot traverse the Origin realm freely without religious access, so belief is both the source of planetary reach and a major geographical limitation. (Chapters 405, 585–602)
