Lion Locket

The Lion Locket is a divine relic forged by Leo, also known as Nemean, for his son Aion. Its defining purpose is privacy: locations covered by it cannot be observed through Leo’s otherwise overwhelming divine sight. It becomes both Aion’s concealment system and a limited source of his father’s power. (Chapters 310, 332, 573)

History

A gift for privacy

Leo makes the locket after Aion asks for a way to keep his activities private. Leo respects that request and later believes the artifact was lost after Aion declared war on him. Enemies first describe it as one of Nemean’s treasures and report that it protects its bearer from cosmic laws and supreme beings. Leo subsequently confirms the narrower decisive fact: it is the only object that can truly block his divine sight. (Chapters 310, 316)

Concealing the Titan operation

Aion uses the locket’s area of effect while he and Narwhal intervene on Kai’s world. The concealment prevents Kai from reaching Leo and hides what occurs inside the covered location. Kai never acquires the necklace; instead, when fighting cannot force Aion to surrender it, he moves the planet beyond its range so Narwhal becomes visible. The episode establishes both the locket’s extraordinary anti-divination effect and its geographical limit. (Chapters 330–333)

Fragments and bodily merger

Aion later gives followers pieces of the locket so their home worlds remain hidden from Leo. These are delegated defensive custodianships, not proof that Aion surrendered the relic. In the final war he explains that the locket Leo gave him has merged into his being. That integration supplies a portion of Leo’s power and manifests as a golden barrier against Cassie, but it does not make Aion invulnerable to Spark-empowered Kai. (Chapters 566, 573, 578)

Abilities and properties

The locket blocks Leo’s divine sight within a bounded area, conceals worlds when fragments are stationed there, and offers protection against high-order beings and laws. Once merged into Aion, it grants him a small share of Leo’s power and supports a golden defensive barrier. Concealment follows the artifact’s range rather than its owner’s intention, so moving a target outside that zone defeats the screen. Its defense can also be penetrated by power on the Spark-enhanced level. (Chapters 310, 332–333, 566, 573, 578)
