Mary is a feline beastkin woman who runs the Drunken Turnip Inn with her husband after their retirement from adventuring. Her attraction to Kai LuForia is driven in part by his supernatural pheromones.

Biography

Marriage, heat, and a new household

Mary loves her husband and values the inn they built together, but their incompatible sexual cycles become a source of frustration when she enters heat and he remains exhausted from work. Kai's scent and pheromone ability amplify her beastkin instincts until ordinary self-control becomes difficult. After repeated rejection at home, she accepts Kai's invitation and begins an affair; he does not use hypnosis on her before their first encounter, but his deliberate supernatural stimulation makes the choice coercively influenced rather than wholly ordinary.
