Frostina

Frostina is Skadi's planetary goddess. She gives Kai LuForia broad freedom on her continent on the condition that he not devastate it, then relies on him when Progenitor Decay, an outer goddess, and a breach from the demon world create threats beyond her normal sight or strength.

Guarding Skadi through an unpredictable guest

Frostina draws Kai's consciousness into her snowy divine realm immediately after his arrival. Having heard from her sisters about the destruction surrounding his earlier travels, she wants to preserve Skadi rather than control his private conduct. She explains the royal succession crisis and her truce with the local demon queen, securing his promise to avoid ruining the continent. When an unnatural blizzard later displaces her people, she thanks him for relief work and admits that an outside power blocks her investigation, directing his attention toward a danger she cannot perceive herself. Frostina establishes a movable boundary that keeps the frozen forest's monsters from crossing into expedition territory.
