Suihua

Suihua is Jin ZiXuan's spiritual sword, inherited and wielded by his son Jin Ling after Jin ZiXuan's death.

History

From father to son

As an infant, Jin Ling is said to laugh whenever he sees his father's Suihua. After both parents die, the sword passes to him and becomes one of the few physical inheritances he retains from them. (Chapters 76, 84)

Jin Ling's weapon

Jin Ling uses Suihua in Yi City, where its spiritual power prevents a fierce corpse's attack from breaking the blade and killing him. He later draws it against Wei WuXian when the latter's identity is exposed at Koi Tower and carries it through the battles at Burial Mound and Guanyin Temple. (Chapters 37, 50, 81, 104)

Abilities and properties

• Suihua possesses enough spiritual power to endure a blow that nearly numbs Jin Ling's arm. (Chapter 37)
• It serves as both an active cultivation weapon and a direct link to Jin Ling's deceased father. (Chapters 76, 84)
