Indestructible Plate of the Stalwart Defender
The Indestructible Plate of the Stalwart Defender is a line of Totem-grade tank armor made for the Alliance's warrior Guild Masters, combining fixed and percentage damage reduction with mobility, resistances, self-repair, and an equipment-granted Earth barrier.
History
A Grandmaster base becomes a reproducible tank design
Alliance demand for high-rank tank armor leads Ashbringer to make a full suit with capped fire and poison resistance, then outsource additional base suits to a Dwarven forge so the Darklight Host can keep pace. Karl covers the inside of Ashbringer's more elaborate set with runes and finds the material receptive enough to raise the result to both Totem rank and Totem grade. Because the Alliance's Mythic teams are a major income source, the design is intended to improve their dungeon efficiency while creating a recurring repair and production relationship for the guild's forge. (Chapter 1094)
Hugo's question about allocation prompts Karl to use first-come, first-served order, with the specially decorated Ashbringer suit intended for Raj and less ornate copies available to the other warrior Guild Masters. By the time the three leaders inspect the armor, all three displayed suits have identical functional bonuses despite one Demonic and two Dwarven visual styles. Raj claims the flashier set while Karl offers to replace any suit if another leader prefers to wait for more decoration, establishing the name as a repeatable equipment design rather than one unique physical artifact. (Chapters 1094 and 1097)
Abilities and properties
- Each documented suit adds 1,400 points of damage reduction and then reduces damage taken by a further two percent. The source lists both separately but does not state the order in which fixed and percentage mitigation apply. (Chapters 1094 and 1097)
- The armor adds ten percent movement speed and twenty percent resistance to both poison and fire-element attacks, helping a tank retain mobility while covering two specified damage types. No resistance cap or interaction with the base materials is given. (Chapters 1094 and 1097)
- Self Repair Level 7 restores the equipment, but its rate, material consumption, and ability to recover from total destruction are not stated. The name “Indestructible” should therefore not be read as proof that the armor literally cannot be broken. (Chapters 1094 and 1097)
- [Earth Shield] supplies an elemental barrier that can function like [Guard] or as a flexible layer over the armor. Karl expects it to activate at the wearer's rank and initially questions how a Mythic Blessing will interact with it; Raj explains that the blessing is a secondary effect on their actions, but the barrier is not shown in battle during these chapters. (Chapter 1097)
- Totem-grade construction lets the suits retain their core bonuses while adding the barrier skill, rather than surrendering a core bonus for an extra effect as lower-rank Epic equipment might. (Chapter 1097)
