Mark
Biography
Rescue expedition and a glimpse of abundance
Mark joins the later Immortal-realm group as its Berserker and helps plan movement around slower Tortollan companions. He favours concealment at the dungeon entrance so outsiders will not learn where the team or recovered Elder has gone. (Chapters 1631–1637)
Inside Karl's separate world, Mark realizes that the visible wealth and power of the Immortal-world household are only a fraction of Karl's resources. After helping complete the rescue, he leaves with Nate and Jim, choosing to return rather than remain for the hatchlings and training arrays. (Chapters 1647–1657)
Appearance and personality
The reconciled later Mark has no reliable physical description. He is pragmatic, security-conscious, and attentive to slower teammates. (Chapters 1632–1637)
Abilities and class
Mark is explicitly a Berserker, but the corpus does not name his rank, rage mechanics, weapons, skills, or later progression. His demonstrated strengths are expedition endurance and tactical caution; earlier Marissa/Mark material is not part of this identity. (Chapters 1631–1657)
Relationships
- Karl: Karl provides the separate-world refuge and resources that reshape Mark's understanding of the group. (Chapters 1647–1657)
- Dana: Dana is part of the rescue coalition Mark accompanies. (Chapters 1631–1657)
