Annabelle
Annabelle is a Mythic-ranked combat mage whose burst-damage specialization initially lacks summons. After Karl transfers Golem to her, her romantic expectations shape the first casting into twin Incubus bodyguards, and she embraces the resulting Idol persona as part of her public style.
Biography
A burst mage turns an unexpected summon into a new identity
Annabelle admits that she never purchased a golem spell because she focused on burst damage. Karl supplies the missing skill through a head pat, and she casts it while apparently thinking about a romance novel. The first summons emerge as sword-bearing, black-suited Incubus “mafia” twins rather than conventional constructs. Once Karl explains that first-casting intent may permanently establish a golem pattern, Annabelle does not reject the result: she changes into her Idol dress, poses with them, and keeps them as flanking bodyguards. The accident therefore broadens her combat options while reinforcing a persona she finds entertaining rather than embarrassing. (Chapter 1148)
At Karl and Dana's wedding events, Annabelle remains socially and professionally curious, questioning Immortal guests about the World Dragon and taking notes. News that Dana's group changed dungeon settings immediately turns that curiosity toward guild advantage: she presses for details, proposes advancing her own run to test whether the better difficulty applies broadly, and focuses on the wealth improved loot could bring. Her latest state is an active Mythic alliance mage planning additional dungeon experimentation, not a character shown retiring into celebrity display. (Chapters 1220–1240)
Appearance and personality
Annabelle is a female Mythic mage who wears an Idol-style armored dress made by Rae. The corpus does not reliably establish her hair, eyes, species, or height. Her twin golems' coordinated black suits and swords become part of her staged appearance. (Chapters 1148, 1220, and 1235)
She is exuberant, theatrical, intellectually curious, and strongly motivated by profitable discoveries. She dances when receiving Golem, poses with odd summons instead of hiding them, records answers about divinity, and physically spins Dana in excitement over improved loot. (Chapters 1148 and 1221–1240)
Abilities and class
Annabelle is a Mythic-ranked mage specializing in burst damage. The corpus does not name her original attacks, mana costs, or defensive spells, so the specialization establishes combat emphasis rather than a complete mechanical kit. (Chapters 1148 and 1220)
[Golem] gives her two sword-bearing Incubus-shaped constructs that function as bodyguards. Their appearance may have been fixed by her intent during the first cast, and she can command them to sheathe their weapons without dismissing them. Their rank, durability, exact damage, and later upgrades are not demonstrated. A Mystic Blademaster skill is discussed as something she might want, but she never receives it in the supplied scope. (Chapters 1148 and 1235)
Relationships
- Karl: Karl gives Annabelle Golem and explains why her first summons may have taken an irreversible romantic form. (Chapter 1148)
- Dana: Annabelle views Dana as both a source of desirable combat techniques and the person most able to explain the alliance's improved dungeon rewards. (Chapters 1235 and 1240)
- Hugo: Annabelle and Hugo have debated the World Dragon's gender for years, showing a long-standing intellectual and social connection. (Chapters 1148 and 1221)
- Raj: Raj attends the wedding event as Annabelle's date and considers advancing their own Mythic dungeon run with her. (Chapters 1220 and 1240)
Items
Annabelle has no scoped catalog item. Her Idol dress is armor made by Rae, but it has no stable item name in the approved manifest; her golem swords belong to the summons rather than being tracked as her possessions. (Chapters 1148 and 1220)
