Instructor to children and Chaos

Amaldor teaches combat to New Home's children and allows Cara, already an Immortal, into remedial lessons after she challenges him. Because her power exceeds that of the ordinary pupils, her battle-royale organization turns his class into unusually intense team practice while still giving the children a structured lesson. Rather than remove the disruptive student, Amaldor continues sparring with Cara and makes the class a highlight of her day. Their prolonged duel draws spectators and demonstrates that he can challenge an Immortal while maintaining his teaching role, adapting the exercise without surrendering control of the class around them.
