Hugin

Hugin is a summoned crow inherited from Satomer and contracted by Theodore Miller. By sharing Hugin's sight, Theodore gains a mobile reconnaissance platform whose range grows from the horizon around a carriage to more than one hundred kilometers.

Elvenheim, Kargas, and the Pirate Archipelago

Theodore completes Satomer's inherited summoning contract with a drop of blood and gives the crow the name Hugin. The familiar immediately proves more useful than its unimpressive cry suggests: it detects distant undead, shares its aerial vision with Theodore, and supplies reconnaissance while Mitra's earth-bound perception is limited at sea. Eastern Legacies, Quattro, and the Soldun Civil War

Hugin scouts above the Meuse Desert, where high altitude gives it a clear view beyond the sandstorm and lets Theodore find Andras's excavation team. During Soldun's civil war, Theodore observes Ruben and the battlefield through Hugin's eyes, using the familiar's broad perspective to follow formations and locate simultaneous master-level fights. East Continent and the Northern War

Hugin counts undead and command units from above, then spies on Jerem and the Four Horsemen across a range exceeding one hundred kilometers. Hugin is a black crow with an unexpectedly small, rough cry. It shows ordinary crow-like attraction to sparkling objects and enjoys flying when summoned after a long absence. Hugin's primary ability is Clairvoyance: Theodore can summon it, borrow its eyes, and overlay its view on his own perception. Flight provides altitude and a wide field of view, while the contract transmits what it sees across increasingly great distances. The link can also transmit harm or sensory backlash from beings powerful enough to detect it, as shown by Nídhöggur's remote strike.
