Alga

Alga is a dwarven elder who joins the allied assault against Inferno and survives the costly conflict.

Biography

Inferno assault

Alga first appears trading familiar provocations with Randur, implying an old rivalry and prior bouts. During the Inferno campaign she identifies that an overhead energy mass is replenishing the duergars rather than attacking directly, then joins the portal assault into the facility. Exhausted and dishevelled after the battle, she celebrates the allied victory. She subsequently reports on surviving enemies as one of only thirteen remaining elder councillors from an original twenty-one, making her survival part of a visibly reduced dwarven leadership. (Chapters 334, 358–371)

Appearance and personality

Alga is a dwarven woman whose hair becomes dishevelled during the prolonged fight. She is competitive enough to answer Randur's challenge, analytical under pressure, and openly relieved when victory is finally secured. (Chapters 334, 358, 364)

Powers and abilities

Alga senses and interprets large-scale energy effects and channels a powerful attack through a black bracelet. She fights alongside the elders inside Inferno, but the corpus supplies neither an exact personal rank nor the bracelet's full mechanics or limits. (Chapters 358–364)

Relationships

  • Randur: Their banter suggests a long-standing competitive relationship and previous fights (Chapter 334).

Items

  • Black bracelet: A wrist artifact that lights as Alga gathers energy in her palm; its name and rank are not stated (Chapter 358).
