Tower Pearl

The Tower Pearl is the soul-fused component through which Luo Feng gains control of Star Tower's forbidden spaces and sealing system. Its fusion is the substance of Star Tower's six-thousand-year recognition ordeal; afterward it also stabilizes and protects Luo Feng's soul against control, illusion, and direct soul attacks. History

Fatal recognition trial

Sitting Mountain Guest arranged for the pearl to fuse with a candidate's soul. The stronger the candidate's soul, the more painful the process, and earlier candidates died when they could not endure it. Luo Feng's fusion lasts roughly six thousand years and threatens his life core across his bodies, but his will holds until the pearl completes its integration and Star Tower recognizes him. Control center and soul guard

After the trial, Sitting Mountain Guest identifies the fused pearl as the control center for Star Tower's forbidden spaces. Because sealing is the tower's primary function, this makes the pearl a functional key rather than a detachable ornament. A tower-shaped projection surrounds Luo Feng's Beast God soul, and the pearl repeatedly blocks control, illusion, and soul attacks. (Chapters 886–887 and 918–980)

Continuing integration

Luo Feng treats the pearl as one of the treasures that must not be lost, especially because Star Tower's ownership depends on its fusion with his soul. He actively drives it against Pei Feng Knight's soul technique and continues carrying it with the earthling body. Later narration emphasizes Star Tower's broader soul protection rather than separately naming the pearl, but no extraction, destruction, or transfer of the fused component is recorded. (Chapters 980–1016 and 1174)

Abilities and properties

• It is the control center for Star Tower's forbidden spaces and its principal sealing function. Attacking, piercing, and defense are described as secondary tower functions. (Chapter 886)
• Fusion produces a protective tower silhouette around the soul, resisting mind control, illusions, and soul attacks when driven by Luo Feng's will and power. (Chapters 887, 930, and 962–977)
• It is not a substitute for willpower: Luo Feng sometimes withstands attacks without needing it, while very powerful or unusual forces can still place him under pressure. (Chapters 920, 947, and 1014–1016)
• Its bond is identity-critical. Luo Feng states that Star Tower acknowledges a master only after the pearl merges with that being's soul, which is why he protects it at all costs. (Chapter 980)
