Yuan Xiang Palace Master

Yuan Xiang Palace Master is the founder of Yulan City, a Source World cultivator whose exceptional formations and commitment to the city are increasingly constrained by pollution from a High-Level Primordial Life. He ultimately transfers the city's founding authority to Luo Feng, choosing the city's survival over retaining his own position. (Chapters 1788 and 1832)

Biography

Founding and surrendering Yulan City

Yuan Xiang builds Yulan City through campaigns against Low-Level Primordial Life and earns the allegiance of nearly a hundred elders, but a previous encounter with a newly advanced High-Level Primordial Life pollutes his soul and every avatar. During the Enchanting Heart Worm's assault, he realizes that maintaining the city's strongest formation consumes attention he must use to resist that pollution. Rather than let pride cost hundreds of millions of lives, he gives Luo Feng the City Building Seal, retains only enough Palace Master authority to support the defense, and resolves to withdraw once the battle ends. The struggle against pollution

After leaving Yulan City, Yuan Xiang dismisses his external avatars, returns to his Source World, and devotes himself entirely to survival. The pollution eventually leaves him unable to distinguish reality from illusion or control his own cave mansion, but his refusal to surrender preserves a remnant of awareness. Luo Feng remembers Yuan Xiang's early help and sends Life Dew through Du Fang; it strengthens Yuan Xiang's soul enough to suppress the contamination and restores his full working strength, with an invitation to have Luo Feng remove the remaining pollution completely. Appearance and personality

Yuan Xiang appears visibly frail, with a weak flame of life that makes observers feel he may fail at any moment. The weakness is the result of soul pollution rather than a lack of resolve. He is protective of Yulan City, urgent when lives are at stake, and willing to relinquish the authority and immense value of a city he founded when Luo Feng becomes the better guardian. Yuan Xiang has mastered two and a half Primordial-level paths. His formations are the strongest among the hundreds layered through Yulan City, exceeding even Luo Feng's arrangements at that stage, and his City Builder authority lets him mobilize the city's stored power. Severe soul pollution forces him to devote more than ninety-nine percent of his Heart Force to resistance, leaving too little attention to drive those formations at full strength. (Chapter 1832)

Avatars and ranged destruction

As a Source World powerhouse, Yuan Xiang possesses multiple avatars, all of which share the same pollution. His injured physique leads him to fight from range, and reports credit his distant attacks with power surpassing Wei Yang Palace Master's during the founding wars.
