Xu Zhong
Xu Zhong is a Sleeping Dragon Army soldier who enters Wu Qi Tower alongside Luo Feng and uses a machine called Bib Bird.
Biography
Failing the Wu Qi Tower trial
Xu Zhong introduces himself and initially discusses the tower's hidden dangers with Luo Feng. After provoking the stronger soldier, he regrets losing the chance to gain an ally and is repeatedly relieved when Luo Feng does not attack. On the third level, the godly eye's mounting mental shock breaks his resistance; he begs Luo Feng for mercy, but Luo Feng knocks down his Bib Bird. A final purple light from the eye annihilates Xu Zhong, leaving his machine and other valuables behind. (Chapters 1372–1380)
Appearance and personality
Xu Zhong is a tall, thin warrior. He is observant enough to question the tower's hazards but opportunistic in dealing with competitors, and his confidence turns to regret and terror after he recognizes Luo Feng's superiority. (Chapters 1372–1380)
Abilities and progression
He is an elite law master accepted into Sleeping Dragon Army and can operate the bird-shaped machine-type valuable Bib Bird. His will cannot withstand the third floor's escalating godly-eye shock, which ultimately makes him lose consciousness. (Chapters 1372–1380)
