Race War and the World of Jin

Wu He begins the Nine Smoke Marsh mission confident in his lineage and equipment but separates from the veteran groups when their captain treats recruits as expendable. He cannot gather the required corpse or safely prey on the remaining forces, and the military point will not let him buy his way out before completing the task. Luo Feng's stock of true-god corpses becomes his only practical escape from execution, so Wu He follows him back to camp, flatters him awkwardly, and bargains away armor, a true-god ship, ordinary equipment, and finally the valuable Seven Searing Flying Armor for one corpse and the necessary credits. (Chapters 1348–1353)

The exchange saves Wu He's life while rewarding Luo Feng far beyond the corpse's immediate value. Wu He later reports the veterans' disastrous return, chooses Ku Fa's safer group over the captain, and becomes willing to accompany Luo Feng on subsequent army movements even when Luo Feng declines the routine mission. Appearance and personality

Wu He is a hideous-looking strange beast with a scaled face and wings attached around his neck. Despite that fierce appearance, his eyes become visibly weak when frightened and his inexperience shows whenever he tries to flatter Luo Feng. He is proud, self-interested, and initially careless because of his birth, yet pragmatic enough to sacrifice treasured equipment rather than die and perceptive enough to abandon a captain who has already demonstrated willingness to spend subordinates' lives. Abilities and progression

Wu He is a law master accepted into the elite Python River Army and survives the fighting in Nine Smoke Marsh, but no named personal technique or clear solo victory is shown. His advantages are principally resources: true-god armor, a palace-class ship, law-master equipment, and Seven Searing Flying Armor, which specializes in evasive changes of direction.
