Sky Wolf Master — Swallowed Star

Sky Wolf Master is the greatest being and long-standing leader of the demon race's Sky Wolf clan. He first confronts Luo Feng while retrieving the imprisoned clansman Si Bo Wa, then becomes a recurring demon rival whose pride, powerful palace, and talent for survival cannot prevent his capture in the human–demon war.

Biography

Retrieving Si Bo Wa from Ice Hell

Sky Wolf Master enters the story after a universe-knight subordinate reports that his long-lost disciple Si Bo Wa is alive in Ice Hell. Although Si Bo Wa is only an invincible emperor, the clan leader decides to go personally when the more suitable Sky Flower Knight cannot be contacted. His arrival in Sky Wolf Palace forces the blue and purple knights guarding Ice Hell to release the captive. When the blue knight speaks out of turn, Sky Wolf Master casually breaks his body apart as a warning, showing both his fierce concern for clan authority and the power disparity that lets him impose it. (Chapters 938–939)

Si Bo Wa then reveals that a human prisoner possesses a beast-god inheritance token. Sky Wolf Master demands Luo Feng as well, intending to kill him and take the token, but the intervention of Primal Chaos City Leader changes the balance. Thousand Treasure River suppresses Sky Wolf Palace, and Sky Wolf Master realizes that Luo Feng is Blade River Emperor and an exceptionally protected sector lord. He argues with the human leader, takes Si Bo Wa into his palace, and withdraws rather than turn the encounter into a losing battle. His rescue succeeds, while the attempted seizure fails and begins his personal hostility toward Luo Feng. (Chapters 939–940)

Competition over the Pulling Traces Diagram

Sky Wolf Master later serves the demon race as an experienced universe master with strong survival skills. He and You Mo Master are sent as scouts against Yuan Ao Master, but their combined attacks cannot overcome him and onlookers witness them being repeatedly thrown back. To preserve themselves, Sky Wolf Master retreats inside Sky Wolf Palace while You Mo Master flees as black airflow. The humiliation sharpens when Luo Feng, now a universe master himself, treats Sky Wolf Master's glare with amusement rather than fear. (Chapters 1145 and 1148–1149)

During the struggle for fragments of the Pulling Traces Diagram, Dream Demon Ancestor lends the pair Dream Ancestor Domain and Devil Islet Vine. Sky Wolf Master boasts that the apparently weak demon contingent has concealed these trump cards, and the surprise lets the demons secure several fragments. When he pursues the Flame Sand Cup alone, however, Luo Feng combines Miniature Universe, Golden Country, and Nine Tiger River to suppress Dream Ancestor Domain and seize the treasure first. Sky Wolf Master survives inside his palace, but the reversal is a public loss of standing: a human he once regarded as a helpless junior now defeats him even while he carries a borrowed pinnacle domain treasure. Defeat and capture in the race war

Sky Wolf Master joins Dream Demon Ancestor's twelve-universe-master assault on humanity. Darkness Master's illusion and Luo Feng's domain reduce the weaker demon masters, including Sky Wolf Master, to only ten or twenty percent of their normal power. Luo Feng's Blood Shadow Blade then cuts through the formation, killing one master and injuring several others before Sky Wolf Master and Ink Scepter Master are pulled into Black Prison Tower. The coordinated human formation defeats the survival strategy on which Sky Wolf Master has repeatedly relied. (Chapters 1267–1270)

Inside the tower, Sky Wolf Master recognizes that neither captive has another body and that self-destruction cannot provide an escape. He urges Ink Scepter Master to wait for Dream Demon Ancestor or Shock Demon Ancestor to seize the tower, but humanity withdraws with the prisoners before such a rescue occurs. Peng Gong Master dismisses the two captives as lesser demon masters who cannot break free. The supplied corpus gives Sky Wolf Master no subsequent escape or release, leaving imprisonment as his latest established condition. (Chapter 1271)

Appearance and personality

Sky Wolf Master is a gigantic, pitch-black sky wolf with four hooves and green eyes. Flames surround him during his first arrival, and his control of the nearby space and time makes him seem like a manifestation of universal law. He is proud, ferocious, and highly conscious of status: he punishes disrespect, boasts when demon stratagems succeed, and reacts with shame when Luo Feng defeats him. He is not suicidally reckless, however; when confronted by Primal Chaos City Leader or protected by Sky Wolf Palace, he retreats rather than sacrifice himself for pride. Universe-master power and survival

Sky Wolf Master is a veteran universe master and the strongest being of his clan, able to control local space and time and shatter a universe knight's body with an unseen strike. By the later Yuan Ao operation he is called a pinnacle universe master with especially strong survival skills, but combat comparisons also place him among the weaker masters present. He can survive opponents he cannot defeat largely because Sky Wolf Palace provides exceptional protection. His lack of an alternate body becomes decisive after capture, because he cannot abandon the imprisoned body and continue elsewhere. (Chapters 938–939, 1145, 1148, and 1271)

Treasure-assisted domains

Dream Demon Ancestor temporarily lends Sky Wolf Master Dream Ancestor Domain, a pinnacle domain-type true treasure. Its dreamlike field can suppress rivals and pull treasures toward him from a distance, especially when combined with You Mo Master's Devil Islet Vine. Against Luo Feng alone, however, the combined pressure of Golden Country, Nine Tiger River, and Miniature Universe forces the domain to contract and retreat. The item is borrowed rather than an innate technique, and Sky Wolf Master expects to return it after the operation. (Chapters 1154–1156)

Luo Feng: Sky Wolf Master first attempts to kill Luo Feng for an inheritance token. Their later rivalry culminates in Luo Feng suppressing him during the diagram struggle and helping imprison him during the race war.
