Liuxing joins his brothers in accepting dangerous service under Luo Feng and later develops his artifact-refining talent at the Heavenly Flame Sect. After the Heartshadow Sect occupies Huyang City, disciple Chan Wuqi extorts Liuxing's artifact shop and kills him when he objects to the abuse of local cultivators. Moyu Qingyan reports the death to Luo Feng, who retaliates against the sect; Liuxing's pregnant wife later bears their son, Moyu Feng Qiu, preserving his family line.
