Morosa

Morosa is an ambitious Sector Beast whose decision to leave the Land of Darkness turns an approaching cosmic danger into an immediate war. It first regards Universe Ocean as food and Luo Feng as an obstacle, but defeat, capture, and soul enslavement reverse that relationship. Morosa then becomes Luo Feng's indispensable guide to the Sector Beasts, wins the species' final contest under his protection, and matures into the King of Sector Beasts. The story does not explain whether any independent loyalty survives beneath the absolute obedience imposed by enslavement, so its later devotion is described as demonstrated behavior rather than a freely chosen reconciliation.

Biography

A predator leaves the Land of Darkness

Morosa begins as one of countless Sector Beasts competing to become their species' sole king. It is proud enough to imagine itself at the summit, yet candidly recognizes Beddy as its greatest rival. After learning about Universe Ocean from Zhen Jia Emperor and Dragon Rock Ancestral God, it identifies Luo Feng as the strongest likely obstacle. Morosa deliberately avoids an early confrontation: its plan is to feed on miniature-universe origins, strengthen itself, and return to settle both contests on better terms. That combination of appetite, calculation, and vanity drives it out of the Land of Darkness alone. (Chapters 1412–1413)

The miniature universes seem to confirm its contempt for ordinary life. Morosa disguises itself in a golden humanoid form, consumes chaos energy, and begins drawing out the origin of Firefly True Master's universe through long streams of black light. It delights in the taste and initially mistakes the defenders' caution for weakness. When Firefly and the gathered true gods engage it, Morosa absorbs physical punishment, attacks their souls, binds its prey in black mist, and kills Firefly True Master. Its escape by dividing into ninety-nine streams prevents the coalition from turning numerical superiority into a decisive victory. (Chapters 1413–1419)

The encounter also exposes limits that Morosa prefers to conceal. Its strongest attacks spend its own Sector Beast energy, and a prolonged struggle threatens the reserves on which its rank depends. Morosa therefore continues feeding while varying its targets, seeking growth without allowing Universe Ocean's masters to pin it down. Defeat at Luo Feng's hands

Morosa's first direct clash with Luo Feng overturns its estimate of Universe Ocean. Luo Feng can seal space, withstand the soundless soul attack, and bring force far beyond the true gods Morosa has tested. Morosa uses its splitting escape, but Luo Feng's pursuit and attacks force it to burn through energy. It escapes troubled rather than triumphant, aware that the opponent it meant to postpone is already capable of threatening its path to kingship. Their conflict becomes personal without ceasing to be strategic: Luo Feng must preserve every miniature universe he can, while Morosa must feed in order to face the stronger Sector Beasts waiting at home. Repeated confrontations turn Luo Feng's advantage into humiliation. Morosa advances enough to use the costly Sector Light Passageway, a desperate escape method connected to its origin, yet Luo Feng repeatedly forces it to spend that power. Each use consumes so much energy that Morosa falls through the stages it had gained, eventually returning to the first stage. The creature that once dismissed Universe Ocean as a pantry is reduced to hiding, feeding cautiously, and fearing the arrival of the one universe master who can strip away its accumulated growth. Morosa still refuses surrender. It feeds and rises again while the wider crisis accelerates, and it attempts to exploit distance and timing before Luo Feng can intervene. Captive guide and enslaved rival

Luo Feng tries to enslave Morosa because killing one Sector Beast cannot solve a crisis involving millions, while a living captive can reveal their shared knowledge and positions. Morosa fights the attempt with fear behind its defiance. Star Tower's layered suppression prevents escape, and Luo Feng applies the soul technique Three Stars Sector. The enslavement succeeds in Chapter 1449, making Morosa unable to betray or attack its master. Once enslaved, Morosa explains the Sector Beasts' progression in detail. As the Sector Beast population collapses, Morosa remains subject to the same compulsion that drives the survivors toward a final contest. Its enslavement creates an unprecedented contradiction: it must compete for kingship while obeying a life-form outside its species. Morosa continues reporting the number and distribution of survivors while Luo Feng kills, enslaves, or forces them into mutual slaughter. Beddy's death removes its old rival, but later contenders arise from the mass fighting in the Lost Ocean Domain. (Chapters 1460–1476)

The last free contender is Mo He. Morosa cannot simply hide in Star Tower, because the inherited contest demands a victor, so Luo Feng physically shields it and fights beside it. Morosa survives Mo He's Destruction of Reincarnation while Luo Feng uses Star Tower and his own techniques to break the attack. When Mo He dies, Morosa is the sole surviving Sector Beast. Luo Sa in the Land of Origin

Morosa enters the Land of Origin under the public name Luo Sa, posing as Luo Feng's old servant while continuing to hide the nature of the Sector Beast King. The disguise lets it act where its master's identity as Luo He must also remain controlled. Morosa manages the cave mansion, escorts Teacher Origin from Yinju City, protects Moyu Qingyan, and handles opponents that Luo Feng would rather not confront publicly. Its obedience is still imposed by the old soul bond, but the continuation also shows an established household role: Morosa is possessive of its place beside Luo Feng, teases the younger disciple, and treats the master's interests as its own daily responsibility. Its growth depends on devouring rather than ordinary cultivation. Luo Feng feeds it captured enemies and valuable remains, while Morosa's avatars consume bodies and transform their energy into the King's expanding power. This makes it both executioner and hidden reserve: it helps kill Divine Monarch Xue Yun, receives Primal Chaos Realm corpses, and advances enough to deter or destroy enemies who believe Luo Feng is accompanied by an ordinary servant. Primordial Bloodline Creature materials later carry it into the Second Realm, and by Chapter 1743 it has reached the Ultimate Realm with a perfected Great Dao. In Luo Feng's later Origin World, Morosa serves among the Nine Great Governors and becomes one of the few people trusted with the system's central management. Appearance and personality

It is also extraordinarily persistent, rebuilding after repeated demotion instead of abandoning its ambition.
