Li Da Wei

Li Da Wei is the Chinese military commander responsible for the southeastern defense sector during Earth's major sea-monster assaults.

Biography

Southeastern coastal defense

Wu Tong introduces Li Da Wei to Luo Feng as the southeastern-sector commander. Li invites Luo Feng to support the nation's defense, and Luo accepts because China is his homeland and the human–monster war leaves no room for withdrawal. During the ensuing assault, Li coordinates the front lines through tactical communications and announces the defenders' successful stand. He later explains that his generation's daily struggle for survival shapes its outlook. Li remains at the command base through subsequent monster waves, using the breathing space created by Luo Feng's mass kills to regroup the defense. (Chapters 176–183, 240, 248, and 253)
