Kafu

Kafu is an independent Ancestor of the Endless Primordial Space, born alone and unwilling to join any camp. He is among the handful of unaffiliated Undying and Undying beings and is close enough to Luo Feng that the Cultivator Camp relies on their friendship during negotiations over Source Worlds. (Chapters 1920 and 1967)

Biography

An independent power between the camps

Kafu first appears among the neutral spectators anticipating war between the Cultivator and Ice Peak camps. Wearing white battle armor, he jokes about the casualties both sides may suffer and needles Mogus over losing most of his dispersed power, while confidently maintaining that Starlight cannot dispose of him. His independence does not mean isolation: thirty-nine World Groups surrounding his cave mansion accept his protection, and thousands of world-level primordial lives obey him even though he takes little personal interest in them. (Chapters 1920 and 1967)

When Luo Feng, Yuan, and Starlight ask him to stop his dependents from consuming Source Worlds, Kafu agrees immediately because Luo Feng is his friend. He forbids the practice on pain of death and asks only for future information about the Abyss of Destruction. Clues later suggest that Kafu once reached the Mountain of Destruction and exchanged a Destruction Fruit for his armor, while his former place in the eighteenth Destruction World confirms his high standing. He remains an interested observer of Luo Feng's rise, admiring the enduring blade scar Luo leaves in the Primordial Void. (Chapters 1928, 1937–1938, 1967, and 1980)

Appearance and personality

Kafu wears white battle armor and is repeatedly associated with hearty laughter. He is famously stubborn, combative in conversation, and entertained by large conflicts, yet his easy agreement with Luo Feng shows that personal friendship can override that reputation. He envies cultivators for having companions and descendants because he was born into loneliness. (Chapters 1920 and 1967)

Abilities and cultivation

  • Kafu is Undying and Undying and combines two highest-level powers. He is a close-combat specialist whose movement is the clearest demonstrated weakness; the Infinite Ancestor exploits that mismatch to take his eighteenth Destruction World. (Chapters 1928–1929 and 1950)
  • He once controlled a layer of the Destruction World and is associated with a precious white battle armor apparently obtained through the Mountain of Destruction. The exact armor mechanics are not explained. (Chapters 1937–1938 and 1959)
  • His strength is high enough to contend near the top of the Endless Primordial Space, though later assessments place the newly improved Infinite Ancestor above him. (Chapters 1920, 1928, and 1939)

Relationships

  • Luo Feng: A personal friend whose request Kafu grants readily; Luo Feng later promises him Abyss of Destruction intelligence. (Chapter 1967)
  • Mogus: A fellow unaffiliated power whom Kafu openly mocks over his weakness against Starlight. (Chapter 1920)

Items

  • White battle armor: A highly valuable armor resembling a Mountain of Destruction treasure; Luo Feng's conclusion about its origin is informed speculation rather than a witnessed exchange. (Chapters 1937–1938)
