Gold Cang

Gold Cang Emperor is a renowned emperor-limit Undying of Yan Ji Main Continent who fights with the automaton camp. He joins Ice Blade and Purple Clock in the race for the Sacrificial Tower treasure, overwhelms the human camp's front-line fighters, and finally destroys himself in an attempt to punish Purple Clock's betrayal.

Biography

Entering the Sacrificial Tower contest

Gold Cang arrives at the Sacrificial Tower with Ice Blade and Purple Clock opposite Luo Feng, Night Emperor, and Piercing Tiger. Both sides cooperate long enough to enter the sealed core, then split into rival search teams. As the strongest individual present, Gold Cang races Night Emperor through the passages and uses broad lightning nets to keep the more agile pursuer behind him. (Chapters 832–837)

Breaking the human formation

When Luo Feng finds the treasure chamber, Gold Cang rushes to reinforce his allies. He hammers Piercing Tiger aside, opens with a soul attack despite not specializing in that discipline, and confronts Luo Feng with an ancient thunder pike and body amplification. His full-force strike cannot penetrate Luo Feng's silver wings, but his presence forces Night Emperor to take over the duel and turns the contest sharply toward the automaton camp. Burning his body for victory

Gold Cang escalates from ordinary combat to burning his Undying body, sacrificing recoverable divine substance for a decisive increase in power. His attacks severely reduce Night Emperor's remaining Undying body and demonstrate why the other participants feared an emperor-limit warrior. The expenditure leaves him committed to winning the treasure and vulnerable to an ally willing to treat every survivor as a competitor. (Chapters 842–844)

Betrayed inside the ancient clock

Purple Clock traps Gold Cang and Luo Feng within an ancient clock and detonates a black Flame God crystal, concentrating the explosion inside the sealed space. Realizing that the blast will destroy him, Gold Cang bids farewell and self-destructs in a final effort to kill the betrayer. His world ring breaks after his death, scattering possessions that Luo Feng and Purple Clock divide during the aftermath. (Chapters 845–850)

Appearance and personality

Gold Cang belongs to a huge-beast species and stands roughly as tall as Piercing Tiger. Thunder engravings cover his face, electricity surrounds him, and body amplification makes his form resemble golden metal. He is proud of his speed and emperor-limit reputation, aggressively directs weaker allies, and responds to certain death with rage at betrayal rather than pleading or surrender. (Chapters 832–845)

Abilities and progression

Gold Cang is an emperor-limit Undying, one step above the pinnacle emperors accompanying the expedition. He specializes in body amplification and close combat with an ancient thunder pike, while lightning projected from his eyes spreads into nets that fill narrow passages. His soul attack is powerful enough to disrupt opponents even though the narrative explicitly says it is not his specialty. (Chapters 832–844)

When burning his Undying body, Gold Cang can rapidly destroy a large portion of Night Emperor's remaining divine body. His last resort is self-destruction, which releases his accumulated Undying power at the cost of certain death; it is used against Purple Clock after the Flame God crystal makes survival impossible.
