Biography
Influence through illusion
Dream Flower initially invites Luo Feng to the Hundred Flowers Banquet because his unusual emotional response suggests he might become another powerful admirer and increase her influence. Her illusion briefly overwhelms him only because he voluntarily amplifies it with the Seven Emotions of Heart Refining technique; afterward, his strength frightens her and changes their relationship. She continues protecting Araya and hosting Luo Feng, eventually composing new pieces specifically to evoke his memories and relieve the exhaustion of cultivation rather than trying to turn him into an infatuated patron. Loss and survival in Huyang City
Dream Flower depends on tact because Dark Forces, great families, and violent guests all meet under her roof. She tries to prevent fights that could destroy the tower and is shaken when Shang Tianyan and Sang Shuiyun—her two devoted admirers—both die after Sang's identity as Divine Monarch Xue Yun is exposed. During the Heartshadow occupation, Luo Feng orders Morosa to rescue Dream Flower, Araya, and nearly all the tower's inhabitants, preserving the institution after its neutral status can no longer protect it. Dream Flower's godly body manifests the laws of enchantment, causing observers to perceive traits or figures they most desire; Shang Tianyan sees his deceased wife in her. She is socially perceptive, ambitious about expanding her influence, and adept at soothing powerful guests, but repeated violence leaves her cautious and uncertain about whether affection inspired by illusion is genuine. Dream Flower uses music and an Eternal True God's Divine Power to build soul-affecting illusions. Floating petals and naturally forming snow accompany performances in which the surrounding world becomes her instrument, and the melodies can awaken memories and powerful emotions. Ordinary Eternal True Gods can immerse themselves deeply, while Luo Feng uses the technique to refresh his Spiritual Will after exhausting cultivation. (Chapters 1502 and 1569)
The technique does not automatically dominate every strong will. Without voluntarily lowering his resistance through Seven Emotions of Heart Refining, Luo Feng finds its direct influence limited, and cultivators with comparable strength can enjoy the music without losing judgment.
