Di Yuan

Di Yuan, formerly Emperor Yuan, is an imperial Godly King whose obsession with devouring creatures makes him one of the Land of Origin's greatest sinners. He supports the Iron Demon Lord as a proxy, is exposed and defeated by Luo Feng, and abandons his emperor identity through reincarnation rather than face complete destruction. (Chapters 1745–1751)

Biography

Imperial arrogance and hidden predation

Di Yuan first appears supporting Di Yan's attempt to strip Luo Feng of Guest Elder status, arguing that a lower-ranking cultivator should obey an emperor despite the formal right to refuse. His own rule follows the same logic of entitlement: while fully lucid and not dependent on a Primordial Bloodline, he cultivates an Endless Abyss legacy by devouring vast populations and secretly uses the Iron Demon Lord to capture still more creatures. The proxy's atrocities eventually let Luo Feng identify the emperor behind them. (Chapters 1719 and 1745–1746)

Defeat and reincarnation

Di Yuan enters the trap confidently, surrounds Luo Feng with blood-red flame, and calls the other emperors while attacking with five powerful Secret Treasures. Luo Feng's Endless Blood River penetrates all three defensive treasures and begins destroying his Ultimate Realm body; even an eight-emperor formation cannot rescue him. When only a fraction of his body remains, Di Yuan chooses reincarnation instead of a revival carrier, sacrificing his body, title, and treasures to prevent causal pursuit. (Chapters 1745–1748)

A hidden second life

Reborn as a youth with his memories and peak Second-Realm comprehension, Di Yuan refuses to return to the Royal Family because his debts prevent restoration of an Ultimate Realm life form and recognition would expose him to Luo Feng. He interprets survival as a chance to shed causal obligations and pursue the Great Dao more seriously, yet the source frames this as caution after defeat rather than repentance. He remains hidden while the old emperor's fall reshapes the politics of the Land of Origin. (Chapters 1751 and 1775)

Appearance and personality

Before reincarnation, Di Yuan has an aged face and wears a red cloak; his presence can merge with boundless blood-red flames. Afterward he appears as a youth. He is greedy, proud of imperial status, and willing to consume nations' worth of lives, but becomes pragmatic when death is unavoidable and later recognizes that open recklessness would only expose his new identity. Abilities and cultivation

Endless Abyss and Origin Dao of the World

Di Yuan has decoded five Ultimate Realm techniques and uses Primordial Materials to build an Ultimate Realm life form without cultivating a Primordial Bloodline. His legacy can transform into an Endless Abyss that devours creatures, while his combat powers and five Secret Treasures center on the Origin Dao of the World. A descending abyss, vast crushing hands, and blood-red flames demonstrate control over a large area, but the exact relationship between devoured life and each technique is not explained. Reincarnation

At the brink of bodily destruction, Di Yuan invokes the Reincarnation Secret Technique quickly enough to erase his causal trace and emerge with memories intact. The escape preserves his peak Second-Realm comprehension but costs his Ultimate Realm body, imperial resources, and public identity. (Chapters 1747–1751)

Relationships

• Luo Feng: Di Yuan first supports sanctions against him, then becomes Luo Feng's target when his hidden role behind mass predation is exposed. Luo Feng forces his reincarnation and takes all five Secret Treasures.
• Iron Demon Lord: A powerful puppet life cultivated and supported by Di Yuan to capture populations and extend his predation without exposing the imperial sponsor.
• Di Yan: A fellow emperor whose hierarchical politics Di Yuan supports; Di Yan later advises him to reincarnate when rescue becomes impossible.
• Emperor Qing: Di Yuan calls repeatedly for Qing's aid during his defeat, but receives no response; Qing later says Di Yuan's conduct deserved death.

Items

• Abyss Pearl, red cloak, armor, gloves, and combat boots: Five Beyond-God-King Secret Treasures centered on the Origin Dao of the World. They improve Di Yuan's attacks and defense but cannot stop Luo Feng's Endless Blood River, and all are lost when Di Yuan reincarnates. (Chapters 1746–1749)
