Bawei Yu controls the first layer of the Abyss of Destruction when Luo Feng begins his descent. He brings nine World-level Primordial Life descendants into that world so they can experience the Power of Destruction, hoping one will master it and become the Bawei Clan's third Ancestor. Luo Feng's journey later displaces the earlier layer holders, but Bawei Yu remains recorded among the historic controllers represented in the Abyss's hidden sculpture; the corpus does not state that he dies.
