Vloyd

Vloyd is a King Stage Skadi operative sent with Razor to support Raguel's attempt to kill Evane. The mission is secretly arranged by Riona to remove powerful men aligned with Skadi's king, making Vloyd a sacrifice before he realizes the real political contest.

Biography

Reinforcement sent into a purge

Riona asks Eardwolf to send Vloyd or Razor to Skyfall, selecting Kings who oppose her influence. Eardwolf sends both in the belief that a written royal order will secure his own credit. Vloyd arrives confident that Skadi has anticipated trouble and tells Raguel's faction that their task is to ensure Evane dies. (Chapters 486–490)

When Razor's scouting exposes the stronger opposing group, Vloyd learns that Riona likely chose them because of their bad relationship with her. Nux identifies both masked men and calls them sacrifices. Vloyd and Razor try to split the danger, with Razor buying time while Vloyd runs. (Chapters 491–493)

Ember catches Vloyd and drags his body back to the confrontation. Razor cannot tell whether he is dead or alive, and the narrative does not clarify that uncertainty later. Vloyd's latest state is therefore defeated and incapacitated, not a confirmed death. (Chapter 493)

Appearance and personality
