The Oakenshield contact

Rune recommends Thorin when Amaya needs access to Dwarven producers. His connection to the Dwarven Continent and the influence of the Oakenshield family make him a stable intermediary who can prevent many entry and business problems. Rune describes him as easygoing, stubborn, proud of his work, and responsive to honest profit and good alcohol, while warning that ridicule of a Dwarf's height could ruin the approach. Amaya, Skyla, and Felberta travel to the open Oakenshield Forge carrying Spirit Alcohol. The alcohol secures an audience, and Thorin greets the visitors warmly while working on a thin, plain-handled dagger.
