Selvith

Selvith was a Primordial Voraleth and the concealed ruler behind an association of eight worlds. Preserved beyond the expected lifespan of an Ultimate through his breakthrough, he emerges only after the Association is overrun, then dies while testing Nux's newly acquired world-derived power.

Biography

The hidden ruler of the Association

Selvith had once been one of the Association's strongest public leaders, then vanished for more than five thousand years. In reality, he had transcended the Ultimate Stage, become the strongest figure in the Association's history, and continued controlling it from concealment. Varain exposes his survival only when the invading Leander women dismantle the Association and he needs the true leader to intervene. (Chapters 1645–1649)

Aeliana had already neutralized Selvith with her Law of Absolute Control, weakening him until he could neither stand nor use his powers. Her restraint prevents him from saving his subordinates and leaves his body humiliated before Nux returns from devouring one of the Association's worlds. This means his initial helplessness is imposed by Aeliana, not evidence of his normal Primordial capacity. (Chapters 1646–1653)

A final test against Nux

Aeliana releases Selvith inside a sealed battlefield and implants the imperative that defeating Nux will save his life. Selvith immediately uses Midnight Devourer and later his Law of Powerful Stealth, treating concealment and accumulated power as his best route to survival. Nux nullifies the domain, shatters Selvith's body with one physical blow, and then turns Devouring Mist against the darkness that should protect him. (Chapters 1653–1655)

Forced out of concealment as his life force, energy, and body are consumed, Selvith abandons pride and offers subordination. Nux refuses and completely devours him in under ten minutes. Aeliana stresses that Selvith could otherwise have annihilated Nux's wives within minutes; his one-sided death reflects Nux's exceptional counter and physical growth, not a generally weak Primordial. Appearance and personality

Selvith is a roughly four-meter-tall Voraleth with a wolf-like face, piercing golden eyes, long muscular hunting limbs, sleek black fur, retractable back spines, and claws capable of cutting through most defenses. Aeliana's earlier restraint leaves his fur repeatedly torn out and his body in a pitiful state before the duel. (Chapter 1649)

He is secretive, authority-conscious, and proud of having broken his world's limits. Once defeat becomes undeniable, survival outweighs that pride and he begs to serve Nux. His disbelief that an Ultimate-stage opponent could counter him also causes him to misdirect attention toward Aeliana during the decisive first punch. (Chapters 1645–1656)

Abilities and cultivation

Midnight Devourer and Powerful Stealth

Midnight Devourer is the Voraleth racial ultimate ability. Selvith covers the battlefield in abyssal darkness that suppresses his smell, sound, and aura while letting him move and strike freely. The void drains enemy life force over time and enhances his strength, speed, and senses. Its shown scale covers Aeliana's battlefield, but no exact range, duration, or energy cost is stated. Nux counters it by devouring the domain itself, turning its environment from protection into a source of damage. (Chapters 1654–1655)

Selvith's Law of Powerful Stealth strengthens him the longer he remains hidden and undetected. It synergizes with Midnight Devourer: he can wait invisibly until accumulated power permits an overwhelming strike. The strategy fails when Nux's Absolute Devour consumes the darkness, drains Selvith, and forces him into the open. This is his latest and final use; no later stage or variant is shown. Primordial body and racial weapons

As a Primordial who surpassed the Ultimate Stage, Selvith possesses extraordinary vitality and normally outclasses Divine cultivators. He survives a punch that shatters his ribcage and drives bone into his organs, though he cannot recover before Nux continues the attack. His natural claws and enhanced hunting body are established racial weapons, but he completes no successful physical strike in the duel. (Chapters 1649 and 1654–1655)

Relationships

• Nux: Selvith becomes a deliberate test of Nux's new physical power. Nux counters both his signature ability and Law, rejects his offer of service, and devours him. (Chapters 1653–1656)
• Aeliana: Aeliana captures and restrains Selvith, then releases him under a survival imperative to observe Nux's strength. Her earlier control must be distinguished from Nux's later unassisted punch and counter. (Chapters 1646–1655)
• Varain: Varain publicly exposes Selvith as the Association's hidden leader when his own defense collapses. Selvith's inability to answer immediately results from Aeliana's restraint. (Chapters 1645–1649)
