Selene is introduced leaving a shop with sweets obtained through a trick. Noctis catches her, insists that they return and pay, and threatens to tell Edda if she continues using a crude favorite curse. Selene responds with her own threat to accuse him of stalking, showing that embarrassment and counter-blackmail are part of their sibling rhythm. (Chapters 2304–2305)

She spends time playing in the universe's park and becomes particularly close to Velora. The two girls' similarity is framed through different social powers: Selene uses illusions to trick people, while Velora uses charm to create conflict between couples. (Chapters 2306 and 2318)
