Elton
Elton Peyton is the merchant-guild head who brings the newly transmigrated Nux to Felberta. His brief real-world role becomes a recurring template inside Nux's later illusion, where recreated versions repeat and distort their first meeting.
Biography
The merchant who opens the Alveye estate
Elton introduces himself to the displaced Nux as head of the local merchant guild and explains that Viscount Felberta has selected him as a personal companion. He advises Nux not to improve his worn appearance because Felberta prefers a frail-looking man, then personally escorts him to meet her. The transaction places Nux inside the estate where his new life and System begin. (Chapters 4–5)
Later appearances belong to the long illusion imposed on Nux, not established main-continuity events. One simulated Elton substitutes Allura for Felberta, while another recreates the original offer closely enough to help trigger the System initialization within that scenario. These copies show how the illusion rebuilds formative memories; they do not prove that the real Elton lived to Chapters 792 or 1407. (Chapters 792 and 1406–1407)
Appearance and personality
Elton has blond hair, a French mustache, and a merchant-like face. He sits and speaks with professional ease, concealing surprise when Nux answers too eagerly. (Chapters 4–5 and 792)
He is pragmatic, discreet, and comfortable arranging intimate employment for a noble client. The later illusion copies preserve that manner but cannot establish additional growth in the real man. (Chapters 4–5)
Abilities and cultivation
No cultivation stage, Law, weapon, technique, or supernatural ability is established for the main-continuity Elton. His demonstrated skills are commercial authority, negotiation, and social discretion. (Chapters 4–5)
Relationships
- Felberta: Elton acts as Felberta's intermediary, selecting and delivering Nux according to her request. (Chapters 4–5)
- Nux: Elton gives Nux his first concrete route into Skyfall society and the Alveye estate. Later illusion copies repeat that role. (Chapters 4–5, 792, and 1406–1407)
- Allura: An illusion version claims to recruit Nux for Allura, but this is not evidence of a main-continuity relationship. (Chapter 792)
