Drakar Leander

Drakar Leander is Nux and Ember's son and a Primordial Dragon. Compact, controlled, and physically formidable, he contrasts with the battle-obsessed Zyrax even as their rivalry pushes both boys beyond their prior strength.

Biography

A rivalry that forces growth

Drakar first appears training against Zyrax on a field already cracked by their earlier exertions. He initially pulls his blows at the end, arguing that pushing Zyrax backward is sufficient, while Zyrax insists that a fight ends only when the opponent no longer asks for more. The disagreement reflects their different pressures: Drakar treats force as something to control, whereas Zyrax deliberately provokes him to stop holding back. (Chapter 2306)

As the spar intensifies, Drakar answers Zyrax's wild Dragon Aura with a denser, more controlled one, manifests scales, and continues after being driven through a tree. Irritation finally strips away his restraint. He becomes fast enough to catch Zyrax off guard, crushes the other boy's aura back, and grows stronger during the exchange; Zyrax grows in response. Oraya interrupts because their exhausted bodies will gain more from rest, but Ragnar encourages them to resume. Frostra ultimately freezes the damaged field and reminds them of the family gathering before the area collapses. The match ends without a declared victor. (Chapters 2306–2308)

Place within the family

Drakar belongs to a close sibling group with Zyrax, Ragnar, and Frostra, reflecting the longstanding association among their mothers. He is also attentive to his sister Ignira: when she is missing from the gathering, he immediately asks where she is and is frustrated that Dagahra has kept her training longer than expected. His complaint when Nux later returns carrying Ignira is competitive but familial rather than hostile. (Chapters 2318–2319)

At the family meal, Drakar and Zyrax continue arguing over whether their last strike settled the spar. Drakar also recognizes the serious expression Nux wears when preparing for battle, suggesting familiarity with his father's training demeanor. Appearance and personality

Drakar appears as a young boy with a broad-shouldered, compact build, short black-crimson hair, and steady golden eyes. He wears a simple dark sleeveless outfit suited to movement. His presence feels heavier than his small frame suggests, and red-gold scales appear across his arms, shoulders, neck, and collarbone as he exerts himself. (Chapters 2306–2307)

He is restrained, terse, and easily irritated by Zyrax's delight in prolonged combat. Unlike his rival, he does not enjoy every exchange, but he is too competitive to withdraw once challenged and can be provoked into using greater force. His concern for Ignira and recognition of his place in their four-child group show a more protective side outside battle. (Chapters 2306–2308 and 2318–2320)

Abilities and cultivation

Drakar is a Primordial Dragon, a racial or bloodline description; the corpus does not give his conventional cultivation stage, Law, Domain, or cultivation method. His body is his principal demonstrated weapon. An early step cracks the ground, his fist-to-fist collisions tear up the field, and one exchanged blow is described as powerful enough to fold almost any Divine Stage being.
