Arshia
Arshia is a three-eyed employee of Fortune's Call whose hidden origin in one of the four Supreme Worlds gives her unusual access within the mercenary organization. Her interest in Nux begins as professional recognition and personal attraction, then becomes a refusal to accept his presumed death and finally a dangerous reunion during his destruction of the Nexus mercenary network.
Biography
Selecting an exceptional mercenary
Arshia first appears working the Fortune's Call counter. She is competent but habitually avoids effort, chatting with mercenaries, taking breaks, or leaving when bored. Nux's arrival changes that pattern: after he demonstrates overwhelming strength and resourcefulness, she chooses easy missions that can qualify him for Special work and uses her limited authority to accelerate his access. (Chapters 1708–1714)
She explains the hierarchy beyond Special Missions, including confidential assignments reserved for star mercenaries and VIP clients. Although she sees Nux as qualified for advancement, she refuses to hand him a Black Mission merely to satisfy his impatience because the Umbrasol assignment has killed every previous taker. Her resistance is protective rather than bureaucratic; she is willing to bend normal access rules for him but not knowingly send him to what she considers certain death. (Chapters 1714–1716)
Nux obtains the mission through higher authority and later discovers that Arshia comes from a Supreme World. The exact World, reason for living as a clerk, and nature of her connection to the attackers recorded at Umbrasol remain undisclosed. Her background explains her privileges but does not make her part of the force that destroyed the world. (Chapters 1737 and 1760)
Refusing to forget Nux and surviving Nexus
After Nux disappears at Umbrasol, Arshia continues seeking information even when Simba argues that the world's survival for roughly 150 years proves failure and that Nux's allies have accepted his death. She is warned that Supreme forces will erase threats to their reputation and reluctantly stops the inquiry. Her persistence makes clear that her interest is no longer merely a clerk tracking a promising client. (Chapter 1760)
Much later, missing records across the mercenary network renew the crisis. Arshia has advanced to Primordial and is still discussing what to do about Nux when he appears alive. Her delight turns to fear when he seals Space and suggests eliminating everyone who knows his connection to the mission. Nux immobilizes her and Simba, reads Simba's memories without consent, and asks Arshia whether she will disclose the people she cares about or undergo the same intrusion. She says she has no one else, and he accepts the answer rather than reading her. (Chapters 2081–2082)
Nux teleports both away before his faction erases Nexus and the connected mercenary Worlds. Arshia witnesses the destruction and is ordered to remain under his subordinates for several days so Supreme forces cannot capture her and recover what happened. She is alive and protected, but the arrangement is compulsory and her later destination remains unknown. (Chapter 2083)
Appearance and personality
Arshia has three eyes and dark-purple hair. At introduction her skin is described as pale; in Chapter 2081 it is described as orange, with no explanation of whether this reflects transformation, lighting, progression, or a textual inconsistency. The corpus does not give her height, clothing, or other stable racial traits. (Chapters 1708 and 2081)
She is sociable, curious, emotionally transparent, and selective about when she works. Her apparent laziness coexists with strong judgment about mercenary potential and a willingness to use her privilege for people she believes in. She becomes personally attached to Nux, yet is capable of caution and withdrawal when his actions threaten her. (Chapters 1708–1716 and 2081–2083)
Abilities and cultivation
Advancement to Primordial
Arshia's cultivation stage is not stated during her early Fortune's Call work. By her reunion with Nux she has broken through to Primordial, matching Simba's broad stage but remaining unable to resist Nux's completed Primordial power. The corpus does not show her breakthrough, identify her energy, Law, Domain, Path, or Supreme bloodline, or provide an independent combat feat. (Chapters 1708–1760 and 2082)
She attempts to use a Space artifact during the reunion, but Nux's seal prevents it from functioning. Nux then immobilizes her and removes her ability to speak without a contest, establishing a situational counter and severe power gap rather than Arshia's normal capabilities. No post-reunion progression is shown. (Chapter 2082)
Mercenary administration and access
Arshia understands mission grading, completion verification, Nexus identity cards, Special and Black Mission rules, and confidential VIP work. Her Supreme background gives her enough privilege to arrange meetings with Simba and make exceptions around Special Missions. These are institutional access and expertise, not supernatural powers; she still cannot unilaterally assign the highest client missions. (Chapters 1708–1716 and 1759–1760)
Relationships
- Nux: A mercenary Arshia recognizes, assists, worries over, and later reunites with. He saves her from Nexus but does so through coercive immobilization, removal, and supervision. (Chapters 1708–1760 and 2081–2083)
- Riona: Nux's wife, whose resemblance and connection help Arshia and Simba identify later inquiries as part of Nux's force. Their direct relationship remains limited. (Chapters 1708–1714 and 1760)
- Simba: Fortune's Call's senior figure and the colleague who knows Arshia's background. They share the long uncertainty over Nux and survive Nexus together. (Chapters 1737–1760 and 2081–2083)
Items
Arshia handles mission papers and Nexus identity cards and possesses access to a Space artifact, but no individually cataloged personal item is assigned to her. (Chapters 1711–1715 and 2082)
