Blackfire, Oath of Eternal Glory
Blackfire, Oath of Eternal Glory is Lux's soulbound black coffin, initially a limited transformation vessel and later a Divine artifact capable of storing bodies and damaged souls, restoring them, and fielding a vast loyal force.
History
The first transforming vessel
Lux obtains Blackfire from a golden gacha reward before entering Elysium. Its original form can hold four complete dead or near-death humanoids and randomly rebirth them as higher undead, fairies, nymphs, elementals, or celestials. Although Lux initially lacks the four hundred combined statistics required for transformation, the coffin becomes a long-term foundation for preserving bodies and developing exceptional subordinates. The New Oath and soul restoration
Lux uses a unique upgrade scroll to raise Blackfire to Divine Rank. Its capacity expands to one hundred thousand, it gains the ability to preserve even fragmentary souls, and Lux can pay resources to choose a rebirth category instead of accepting a random outcome. He places Hereswith's damaged soul inside for recovery, later fields Blackfire's Demigod-heavy army, and after the final war uses it in Scarlet's revival. (Chapters 789–792, 1137, 1234)
Abilities and properties
- At Divine Rank, stores living or dead humanoids and damaged souls, up to a stated capacity of 100,000. (Chapter 789)
- Rebirth can produce higher undead, fairies, nymphs, elementals, or celestials; choosing stronger or rarer results costs Beast Cores or other resources, while a free transformation is random. (Chapters 8, 789)
- Transformed creatures remain loyal to Lux, and Beast Cores can revive fallen creatures at a cost that rises with their rank. (Chapters 8, 789)
- Soul recovery is gradual rather than instant: Hereswith must remain inside while her damaged soul heals. (Chapters 791–792)
