Enlil
Enlil Neifion is the sixth prince of the Elswyth Kingdom and a Wind Elementalist recognized among his generation's Four Kings. His early contempt for Half-Elves leads him to underestimate Gerhart, while later defeats and expeditions force him to acknowledge that reputation and racial pride do not guarantee superiority. (Chapters 234–236, 298, 711)
Biography
The Lionheart Tournament and the Hidden Domain
Enlil enters the Lionheart Tournament determined to preserve the Four Kings' reputation and treats Gerhart as a defective stain rather than an equal Wind Elementalist. His superior wind pressure, eagle companion, and Wind Reaver initially control the match, but Gerhart's royal blood and Kinslayer reverse the contest. Rather than risk certain death from Life Break, Enlil spends his own heart's blood to activate an emergency teleportation dagger and escapes to the Elven capital. The loss saves his life but shatters the aura of invincibility around the Kings and exposes how prejudice kept him from recognizing the royal claimant before him. (Chapters 234–236)
Enlil later leads Noblesse into the Hidden Domain and joins the wider alliance, but pride again distorts his judgment. He supports the assumption that a large merged guild force can overpower the domain, only for the expedition to suffer mass elimination; his own arm becomes petrified before treatment reverses the damage. By the aftermath, he can no longer dismiss Lux's achievements as luck and recognizes that the Half-Elf may be stronger than the celebrated young elites. His later completion of the Gate of Famine under Lux's command ends with thanks and a pragmatic decision to remain on Lux's good side. (Chapters 279, 298, 302, 711)
Abyssal invasion and broken memories
When the Abyssal invasion threatens the Six Kingdoms, Enlil is sent with the other royal heirs to Barbatos Academy while his parents remain responsible for their kingdom. He is restless and wants more than passive safety, yet obeys because preserving the Elven royal bloodline has become his assigned duty. Seeing the once-despised Lux return as the Six Kingdoms' beacon of hope underscores Enlil's development: the Half-Elf he would once have treated as inferior now commands the forces on which princes depend, while Enlil can only hope Elswyth survives. (Chapter 1096)
Appearance and personality
Enlil is a handsome Elf with lustrous green hair and the polished confidence expected of royalty. He begins arrogant, openly racist toward Half-Elves, and intensely concerned with the Four Kings' standing. His tactical instinct is sharper than his rhetoric suggests—he times attacks carefully and will preserve his life rather than die for spectacle—but early pride prevents honest assessment. Repeated reversals make him more pragmatic, able to obey Lux and express gratitude without pretending their past hostility never existed. (Chapters 234–236, 683, 711)
Abilities and skills
As a Wind Elementalist, Enlil can fly, create barrages of razor-sharp wind blades, and form a luminous green bow whose Wind Reaver arrow is one of his strongest attacks. He can also summon a Giant Eagle that produces restraining gusts and, through Sky Fury, combines its movement with his wind power to form a tornado. These techniques let him fight from range and control an airborne battlefield, but Gerhart can cancel or absorb them with Kinslayer, and losing the eagle's wing breaks their combined assault. (Chapters 234–235)
Enlil's life-saving dagger teleports him to the Elven capital, but it must be stabbed into his chest and paid for with heart's blood, making it an emergency escape rather than effortless mobility. He also depends heavily on distance and elemental control: opponents who counter wind, pin his companion, or force him to spend his escape tool can overturn his advantage. No later chapter documents a new named technique or formal rank, so his latest known capability remains that of an experienced wind specialist whose judgment has improved more clearly than his recorded power. (Chapters 235–236, 298, 711)
Relationships
Gerhart is Enlil's most personal adversary: their shared royal blood and Wind affinity make Enlil's refusal to recognize him both political and intimate. Jasper repeatedly acts as his factional counterpart during the continental war and later dungeon expedition. Enlil's relationship with Lux changes from suspicion and rivalry to reluctant obedience and strategic respect, culminating in his acknowledgment that cooperation is more useful than offense.
