Samuel's Timeweaver is a sentient parasitic character, not Samuel's property or equipment. It first acts through a cultivated skin modeled on Samuel Mid, then reveals a many-headed spider-like form and is ultimately confined in Theodore Waltz's Wanderer Monster Den. (Chapters 172–173, 215–218)

Biography

The false Samuel becomes a captive witness

The parasite enters social space wearing the convincing identity of Archreaver Samuel Mid, using charisma and stolen memories to pass as a Wizard. When challenged, it reveals a seven-headed, many-eyed, winged spider manifestation and deploys time and fate magic against its hunters. Theo later exposes the deeper truth: the body is a hollow skin grown after the Timeweaver consumed a host's fate, essence, memories, and power. Capturing the avatar inside the Wanderer Monster Den prevents escape through the alternate dimension it normally occupies. In confinement it remains articulate, hissing, spinning webs, describing the Samuel skin, and warning about the hive's predatory invasion. Its testimony matters because a defeated infiltrator becomes a source on how the species replaces people. (Chapters 172–173, 215–218)

Appearance and personality

Its disguise resembles Samuel Mid, but its revealed avatar is a grotesque spider with seven heads, many eyes, wings, and mandibles. It is charismatic while disguised and predatory, evasive, and spiteful when exposed, yet remains capable of reasoned explanation under confinement. (Chapters 172–173, 215–218)

Abilities and cultivation

The Timeweaver is a Peak Wizard with fate and time perception, limited reversal, attacks transmitted through an image or history, spatial webbing, teleportation, poison, and mental mandible assaults. It partially exists in Primordial space and can grow replacement skins from consumed victims. The Wanderer Monster Den blocks its cross-dimensional escape, and coordinated exposure prevents the disguise from protecting it. (Chapters 173, 215–218)
