Pelise

Biography

Rakaren Invasion and the Spire of Blood

Pelise, a daughter of Theodore Waltz and Melise, joins the Rakaren campaign as a healer rather than a front-line conqueror. She takes an interest in the defeated Sunspire princess and tries to lift her despair, then leads the cleanup after the Golden Sword Sect surrenders. By dividing her team between recovering wisps and treating wounded survivors, Pelise makes the coalition's victory preserve lives instead of merely securing territory. (Chapters 233–234, 240, 243, 246–247)

Primordial World, Satyr War, and Lich War

During later fighting, a Satyr attack leaves Pelise battered enough to be sent to the medical bay. She returns to work and is later found treating a severe death curse, showing that healing remains her defining contribution even after she experiences the vulnerability of medical personnel in a major assault. (Chapters 279, 322, 328, 342)

Appearance and personality

Pelise has golden hair. She is compassionate and proactive: she notices emotional injury in the Sunspire princess as readily as bodily wounds, then organizes recovery work instead of waiting for instructions. The corpus does not provide a more detailed stable physical description. (Chapters 243, 246–247)

Abilities and cultivation

Pelise practices spiritual healing and cultivation support, tending the wounded, helping recover wisps, and confronting death-curse injuries. Her exact cultivation rank and named techniques are not stated. Her own injuries during the Satyr assault show that healing expertise does not make her durable against high-level attackers. (Chapters 246–247, 328, 342)

Relationships

  • Theodore Waltz: Her father and clan leader; Pelise supports his campaigns through recovery work. (Chapters 233–247, 342)
  • Melise: Her mother, from whom Pelise inherits a place in Hearthwood's large extended family. (Chapters 233–247)
