Biography

Blackgorge elder and family reunion

Meldrik is a Blackgorge elder and Yorik's paternal grandfather. When Theodore Waltz reaches the tribe, Meldrik recognizes Yorik's lineage and helps expose the ruling chief's treachery; his acceptance gives Theo's challenge crucial internal legitimacy, leading the tribe to accept Theo as chief rather than splinter after the fight. Meldrik then helps move Blackgorge people into the Hearthwood and Moonbow sphere, where he reconnects with his great-grandson Dulik and supports the tribe through later wars. Appearance and personality

The corpus presents Meldrik as an elderly orc whose authority comes from age, memory, and standing within Blackgorge rather than courtly title. He is cautious when strangers intervene in tribal affairs, but he changes course when genealogy and conduct support Theo and Yorik. Abilities and cultivation

Meldrik is an experienced orc warrior and tribal organizer.
