Lycara Demonstar is the aggressive level-29 head of the Demonstar Clan. Her attempts to seize captives and territory from Nela Songstone lead her into a summit conspiracy, where she is immobilized and killed by the rival she had tried to dominate. (Chapters 142, 157–160)

Biography

Expansion ends at the summit

Lycara pursues Nela and other targets until Spirelord intervention temporarily stops the conflict, but she does not abandon her appetite for land and captives. The promise of a valuable talisman draws her into a summit engineered to make several factions destroy one another. She fights the Seven Snake representatives and then the Hearthwood group with enough power to overwhelm weaker matriarchs. Tivana changes the balance by freezing her cultivation and reducing her ability to resist. Nela, remembering Lycara's predation and betrayal, kills the helpless matriarch with an iron spear. The death turns Lycara into a wisp and ends Demonstar's immediate expansion without documenting any later reincarnation. (Chapters 142, 157–160)

Appearance and personality

Lycara carries herself as a proud clan matriarch and treats weaker groups as resources to be seized. She is greedy, aggressive, and willing to betray vassal expectations when advantage permits. The corpus offers little stable detail about clothing or facial features. (Chapters 142, 157–160)

Abilities and cultivation

At level 29 Lycara is a Late True Mage. She uses force and fire, a force shield, a crimson phantom beast or claw manifestation, and a phoenix-like bolt. Her power outmatches individual Hearthwood matriarchs, but Sorcerer-level control can shut down her zeal and leave her unable to defend herself. (Chapters 157–160)
