Katiana begins as a recurring Riverweed companion in the dangerous early dungeon expeditions around the Hearthwood. Repeated fights turn her from a Zeal Accumulation cultivator into a Mage Acolyte and then a trusted strike-team leader, so she is assigned to operations that require someone who can keep less experienced elves together under pressure. She survives raids, defenses, and the expanding dungeon campaign, although Timothy Bennett's mass mind attack catches her with other defenders in Chapter 122.
