Rakaren Invasion and the Spire of Blood

Jatese, a daughter of Theodore Waltz and Melise, treats conquest as a problem of controlling hostile leadership rather than merely winning battles. She proposes adapting the coercive methods used at Rakaren to the Ancient Tree Temple and Auqualian Trade Union and asks Argona for Sorcerer-grade collars that can restrict zeal. The proposal helps Hearthwood retain dangerous captured rulers and creates a path from battlefield victory to occupation, but it also places Jatese among the family members most comfortable with coercion. Primordial World, Satyr War, and Lich War

Jatese remains involved in Hearthwood's campaigns and later works in its prisons, using a death curse while extracting information.
