Alayna Loftwealthios

Alayna Loftwealthios is a wealthy alchemist whose campaign against Sava Greenstem turns commercial rivalry into a public test of skill and character. She uses debt purchases, reputation attacks, and false claims of authorship to force a contest, then becomes a pawn in a larger factional ambush. (Chapters 152–160)

Biography

A manufactured rivalry and its violent aftermath

Alayna arrives as an Early True Mage and three-star alchemist who claims four-star standing. She purchases debts, challenges Sava's reputation, and presents a Fatecharm pill as her own work, yet the contest exposes weaker technique and reckless ethics: she has driven Heartwielder cultivation hard enough to crack a spellheart and relies on pills and paste to cover deficiencies. Her defeat does not end the conflict. A promised Aura Condensing Talisman draws her to a summit where poison, mind magic, and blunt force leave her unconscious; conspirators then use her bag to inflame the assembled factions. Lyondiana ultimately receives her still-living sister, so Alayna survives the trap without regaining agency on page. (Chapters 152, 154, 157–160)

Appearance and personality

Alayna presents herself with the assurance of a rich scion and certified professional. Her need to dominate Sava's reputation makes her boastful and deceptive, while her treatment of a vulnerable cultivator shows that prestige matters more to her than a patient's safety. (Chapters 152, 154)

Abilities and cultivation

At level 23 Alayna is an Early True Mage and a genuine three-star alchemist, despite exaggerating her accreditation. She can formulate cultivation products, pills, and pastes, but Sava demonstrates superior diagnosis and craft. Alayna is also vulnerable to coordinated poison and mental assault and contributes no meaningful resistance after the summit ambush begins. (Chapters 152, 154, 157)
