Prince Nezha

Prince Nezha is a military god and one of the three leaders who govern the Chan Sect after the Yellow Emperor's fall. He was created for war by combining the soul of an old hero with precious treasures and artifacts, making his body and armament parts of the same human-weapon design.

Biography

A war god chooses a candidate

Prince Nezha first observes Yeon-woo during a large clan war because the scale of his command and combat attracts military deities. He grants Yeon-woo King of Ten Thousand Soldiers, adding the power to the fight-aligned side of Sky Wings. When the revelations later divide the heavenly world, Nezha angrily seeks the power's return; Yeon-woo instead destroys the Channels and keyword himself, ending their first patron relationship before either god can impose conditions. Rivals become battlefield allies

Nezha descends beside Erlang Shen to help Yeon-woo reclaim Tartarus, a mission serving both their alliance and the Chan Sect's search for a Soulstone capable of treating its leader. His initial competitive impulse nearly produces a duel, but he restrains it and fights as an ally because the campaign matters more. Watching Yeon-woo defeat Mother Earth and devour the enemy forces changes Nezha from a wary partner into a genuine supporter of Yeon-woo's radical rise. (Chapters 544–549 and 584–603)

The Chan Sect survives its old war

The disappearance of the Jade Emperor forces Nezha and Erlang Shen to return to the heavenly world before their business with Yeon-woo is complete. He later joins the three Chan Sect leaders against the restored Tongtian Jiaozhu, whose power overwhelms them and leaves their society dependent on Yeon-woo's intervention. By the later peace, Nezha and Erlang are credited with contributing most to the Chan Sect's renewed war against the weakened Jie Sect, confirming that he remains active. Appearance and personality

Prince Nezha is a beautiful man with blazing red hair, intense eyes, scratched bronze armor, a helmet, and an array of weapons: a thick whip, three swords, two long spears, and a giant shield. His many artifacts and fighting spirit heat the surrounding air before he even attacks.

Despite being constructed as a human weapon, Nezha is bright, relaxed, warm, and capable of easy laughter. He becomes competitive when he senses another strong fighter and enjoys political disorder as a military spectacle, but he can also restrain an ally's greed, honor agreements, and sincerely support someone whose actions impress him. Abilities and powers

Nezha's body was made by pouring valuable treasures and artifacts into an old hero's soul, so his physical existence is inseparable from his function as a weapon of war. He carries a broad arsenal and can ignite the Fire-Tipped Spear on contact. The chapters establish intense fighting spirit and high standing among the Chan Sect's martial gods, but do not enumerate the mechanics of every carried weapon or show him defeating Tongtian Jiaozhu; that battle demonstrates a clear upper limit against an overwhelming opponent. King of Ten Thousand Soldiers is a Channel power that Nezha grants to Yeon-woo's Sky Wings. It belongs to the fight keyword and can strengthen a compatible recipient without transferring Nezha's full body or complete arsenal. The bond is revocable in principle and ends when Yeon-woo destroys the Channel architecture. Nezha's latest reported state is active military leadership in a renewed Chan–Jie conflict, with no later injury or death established. (Chapters 340, 496, and 794)

Relationships

• Yeon-woo: Nezha moves from patron to critic and finally battlefield ally and genuine supporter, while continuing to treat him as a stimulating rival.
• Erlang Shen: They share leadership of the Chan Sect, descend together, and cooperate in diplomacy and war despite Nezha's more impulsive temperament.
• Tongtian Jiaozhu: The restored Jie Sect leader defeats Nezha and the other Chan Sect leaders, renewing their society's ancient conflict.
• Hou Yi: Hou Yi is identified as Nezha's former teacher, connecting his later leadership to an older martial lineage.
