Jinrang

Jinrang is Triton's third captain, a disciplined Apostle whose loyalty to Benteke matters more to him than the punishment he expects for disobeying his leader.

Biography

Saving Benteke costs Triton its third captain

Jinrang keeps Triton's ship intact under Yeon-woo's Fire Lightning, then intervenes when the exhausted Benteke refuses to withdraw. Knowing Benteke hates being rescued, Jinrang nevertheless removes him from the duel and pours holy water into his severed arm because preserving his king matters more than obedience. He later returns to confront Yeon-woo, but a black-Aura explosion destroys half of Orion's power and breaks Jinrang's vessel. His death helps shatter Triton's morale before Benteke rallies the survivors. (Chapters 277–296)

Appearance and personality

Jinrang is shown as a martial captain carrying a sword and directing the crew from the damaged ship. In his final scene he props himself up on that sword while blood pools beneath him and holy power leaks from his broken vessel. (Chapters 278, 295)

He is calm, dutiful, and personally loyal. Jinrang ignores Benteke's anger to save his life, treats healing as a command responsibility, and becomes a target for rivals precisely because his loyalty stabilizes Triton's succession. (Chapters 281, 291)

Abilities and powers

Orion's Apostleship

As Orion's Apostle, Jinrang can channel holy power unavailable to ordinary players and use holy water to treat Benteke's divine wound. He also communicates orders through Open Speaking and contributes to Triton's ship barriers. Apostleship depends on his body remaining a viable vessel; Yeon-woo's attack tears away Orion's power and leaves the container leaking beyond recovery. (Chapters 278, 281–282, 295)

Sword and naval defense

Jinrang combines sword training with coordinated barrier defense, helping the crew keep its ship afloat under repeated flaming lightning. The defense reduces rather than nullifies impact: shockwaves crack the vessel, and Jinrang cannot protect both the ship and his own divine foundation against Yeon-woo's later concentrated attack. (Chapters 278, 295–296)
