Helios

Helios is Theia and Hyperion's son, a former holder of the sun's domain, and a Titan conspirator who gives his life trying to restart Kronos's stopped time.

Biography

A hidden purpose behind Typhon's attack

Helios accompanies Typhon during the apparent effort to eliminate Hercules and the resistance. His real purpose follows Theia's design: while Typhon and Yeon-woo occupy one another, Helios waits for a chance to reach Kronos's corpse. The arrangement turns an open assault into cover for a restoration attempt, because the Titans believe Kronos's past status as a great Apostle of the Black King may let them reclaim their lost power. Helios reaches the body and sacrifices himself to activate its time, but the effort produces no lasting revival. Theia later mourns her irreplaceable and gifted son while admitting that his death achieved nothing. (Chapters 545, 550–554)

The last servants at Kronos's body

Titans who followed Helios continue waiting around Kronos after his death, preserving the cause for which he sacrificed himself. When Yeon-woo's party attacks the remaining servants, Helios's solar chariot and followers are swept away by Sword Thunder, closing the battlefield remnant of his failed plan as well as his personal story. (Chapters 559–560)

Appearance and personality

Sun chariot and Daylight Rays

Helios recreates the sun chariot associated with his legends and radiates extreme light and heat from it. Daylight Rays manifests as white holy power, giving his attack the concentrated force of his former solar domain. Limits and sacrifice

Sword Thunder can confine the solar assault and trigger explosions powerful enough to blow Helios, his chariot, and the remaining servants away. His self-sacrifice can also serve as a catalyst for Kronos's stopped time, but it cannot guarantee restoration; the activation consumes Helios without producing the intended return.
