Poseidon's faction targets Yeon-woo

As tensions within Olympus intensify, Demeter strengthens Paneth with a greater blessing and directs him to evaluate Yeon-woo, eliminating him if necessary. The choice places her firmly behind Poseidon's faction and makes divine sponsorship an instrument of internal politics. She later reacts with alarm when Hades entrusts Kynee and authority over the underworld to Yeon-woo, opposing a transfer that further weakens her faction's control. (Chapters 299, 354, 373–385)

Hades identifies Demeter as his second sister and explains that she waited for Kronos's return longer than the others, suffering deeply in the process.
