Ring of Conquest

The Ring of Conquest is a Unique relic inherited by William from his father Maxwell. It begins as a means of entering a recorded dungeon and ultimately serves as the vessel for William's conquered dungeons and the Dungeon Conqueror inheritance. (Chapters 11, 89, 403)

History

Gateway to the Goblin Crypt

William's appraisal established that the ring could transport its user into a dungeon recorded within it; its first recorded destination was the twenty-floor, Grade D Goblin Crypt. William used that access from infancy as the foundation of his early growth. (Chapters 11, 16)

Maxwell's inheritance

At the Goblin Crypt's core, the ring played Maxwell's recorded message. Maxwell explained that he had stored his Dungeon Conqueror power inside it for his child. William inherited the profession, but a seal initially restricted him to one conquered dungeon until he reached the Central Continent and met the next requirement. (Chapter 403)

Abilities and properties

• The ring transports its user to dungeons recorded inside it. Dungeon Search, a Dungeon Conqueror ability synchronized with the ring, randomly selects and registers the next destination; it selected the otherwise hidden Atlantis, after which the ring provided access. This is not unrestricted teleportation to arbitrary places. (Chapters 11, 403, 406, 1164)
• It stores equipment and other objects and can equip stored gear on William. (Chapters 116, 170)
• A conquered dungeon can be transferred into the ring and modified there; removing the core leaves the external dungeon to decay. (Chapters 406, 766)
• Its dungeon functions can be expanded through paid System modifications, such as the 3,000-God-Point Bestiary Barracks addition. (Chapter 220)
• Maxwell's initial restriction prevents William from conquering another dungeon until he meets the next inheritance condition, even though the ring can still receive marked dungeons. (Chapters 403, 406)
